saturday 29 september was edinburgh doors open day 2007, with events taking place all over the city.  morgan mcdonnell architecture ltd were out in force at 16 waterloo place, a residential project nearing completion.   over two tours we welcomed more than 70 people to the building.

anthony mcdonnell, director of the practice, took both groups around the building, which is a peculiar conjoining of a listed building and a 1960’s extension, both of which have been completely remodelled as part of the works.  

we would like to thank everyone who came along to the event for their interest, and for their overwhelming positive response, as well as the cockburn association and edinburgh world heritage trust for allowing us to be part of the special day, and the contractors at elite interior contracts who went out of their way to help everything go smoothly.
