1 Roundhouse, Isle of Coll

Located on the remote Inner Hebridean island of Coll. The scheme involves the refurbishment of the existing traditional semi-detached cottage and construction of a new extension that accommodates the living, dining and kitchen areas while providing open aspect to the magnificent views out towards the sea. The contemporary larch clad extension both contrasts and complements the rendered cottage and has doubled the usable area internally. The upper floor of the cottage accommodates a master bedroom together with bathroom, with a new larch clad dormer window adding light and volume to the space. A further 2 bedrooms are located on the ground floor of the cottage.
