the bar area was stripped to the original stone and brick and was cleaned and repointed to provide a sparse and textured backdrop to the precise glass of the bar gantry and the light installation. The bar and floor were clad in the same grey slate as the external façade finish, with wall panels and other details provided in reflective polished brass, producing a warm and luxurious impression, both highlighting and complimenting the lighting scenario and contrasting with the dark slate and other materials. this lustrous effect continues in the toilets, kept intentionally dark and finished with black glazed ceramic tile.
