the scheme for the site involves the creation of 80 apartments, ranging in size from one to four bedrooms. commercial space - offices, restaurants, hotel and shop - encourages the continued use and street life of the area, and adds a much needed vibrancy to the route between waverley station and the royal mile.
as well as building works, an old route between the news steps and advocate’s close will be reopened. public and private amenity space is creatively provided with terraces and roof gardens.
