The Edinburgh Architectural Association has announced a shortlist of projects for the 2015 EAA Awards. We are thrilled that two of our projects, Advocate’s Close & 26-31 Charlotte Square, have both been shortlisted twice. Each project has been included in the Building of the Year and the Regeneration and Conservation Award Categories and will go head to head at a drinks event at the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation on Tuesday 31st March.

As noted on the EAA website, awards are designed to create a showcase for the Architectural profession to demonstrate its skills and contribution to the environment and the economy highlighting the excellent work undertaken within the EAA Chapter Area and by Architects in general.

An exhibition of all short-listed entries http://www.eaa.org.uk/about/news/2015/march/2015-eaa-awards-shortlist-announcement/ will be held in the RIAS Joyce Deans Room at 15 Rutland Square in Edinburgh from 19th March until 28th April 2015.

More Award Nominations For Charlotte Square & Advocate’s Close

We are once again delighted to reveal that two of our recently completed and highest profile projects, Advocate’s Close and 26-31 Charlotte Square, have been shortlisted in multiple categories for this year’s Herald Property Awards.

In a joint submission with Client and developer Chris Stewart Group, Advocate’s Close has been shortlisted for ‘Best Renovation/Conversion’, ‘Best Non-Housing Regeneration Project’ and ‘Commercial Property of the Year’ awards.  We have also had our Grade A office redevelopment at 26-31 Charlotte Square shortlisted for the ‘Commercial Property of the Year’ award.

These most recent nominations continue the rich vein of success and recognition for both projects which have each scooped several prizes in 2014, including an RIAS winners medal. We can’t wait to see how both get on at the awards presentation event on September 24th.
