We are thrilled to be among the 7 shortlisted teams for the second stage of the Ross Pavilion International Design Competition. We will be working in collaboration with lead architect and project principal Adjaye Associates and their team to produce a concept design for a new landmark Pavilion, a visitor centre with café and enhancements to West Princes Street Gardens, due for submission 9 June 2017.

MMA Projects Shortlisted in Northern Design Awards 2016

Our 2 Edinburgh’s projects were shortlisted at this year’s Northern Design Awards: The Beer Kitchen in Restaurant and Bar category and 53-57 Queen Street in Residential Conversion category. We are looking forward to the celebration at the Royal Armouries Museum, Leeds on Friday 11 November where the winners will be announced.

The Edinburgh Architectural Association Awards were announced in the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation on Tuesday 31st March.

EAA 2015 – 26-31 Charlotte Square & Advocate’s Close Have Been Shortlisted Twice

The Edinburgh Architectural Association has announced a shortlist of projects for the 2015 EAA Awards. We are thrilled that two of our projects, Advocate’s Close & 26-31 Charlotte Square, have both been shortlisted twice. Each project has been included in the Building of the Year and the Regeneration and Conservation Award Categories and will go head to head at a drinks event at the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation on Tuesday 31st March.
As noted on the EAA website, awards are designed to create a showcase for the Architectural profession to demonstrate its skills and contribution to the environment and the economy highlighting the excellent work undertaken within the EAA Chapter Area and by Architects in general.
An exhibition of all short-listed entries http://www.eaa.org.uk/about/news/2015/march/2015-eaa-awards-shortlist-announcement/ will be held in the RIAS Joyce Deans Room at 15 Rutland Square in Edinburgh from 19th March until 28th April 2015.
More Award Nominations For Charlotte Square & Advocate’s Close

We are once again delighted to reveal that two of our recently completed and highest profile projects, Advocate’s Close and 26-31 Charlotte Square, have been shortlisted in multiple categories for this year’s Herald Property Awards.
In a joint submission with Client and developer Chris Stewart Group, Advocate’s Close has been shortlisted for ‘Best Renovation/Conversion’, ‘Best Non-Housing Regeneration Project’ and ‘Commercial Property of the Year’ awards. We have also had our Grade A office redevelopment at 26-31 Charlotte Square shortlisted for the ‘Commercial Property of the Year’ award.
These most recent nominations continue the rich vein of success and recognition for both projects which have each scooped several prizes in 2014, including an RIAS winners medal. We can’t wait to see how both get on at the awards presentation event on September 24th.
